Job summary

PepsiCo in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform preventative maintenance. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts (12am–8:30am) and collaborate with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs to keep trucks safe and on the road.

Expect hands-on training and a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow within a major food company.

Qualifications

At least 21 years old.
Valid D10K certification.
Driver's license must not be suspended or revoked for moving violations in the past 3 years.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
Able to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
Will work on/under trucks for 8–12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
Work with experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
Return vehicles to the traffic center (CDL required).
Manage parts inventory and charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
Build relationships with vendors for estimates on parts or outside labor.
