Job summary

Avery Dennison is hiring a Finishing Operator for the 11:20PM-7:30AM shift (Sun-Thurs) in our finishing center. The role involves packaging slit rolls to customer specs, operating manual packaging, preparing cores, banding, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion of orders. A high school diploma or equivalent, safety mindset, and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Must follow written and oral instructions.
• Safety is a core value and must model safety practices; comply with policies and procedures.
• Able to contribute in a team-based environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and package finished goods per customer specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect the general appearance of finished products.
• Prepare cores for machine operators and maintain packaging supplies.
• Communicate information to shift/department personnel for smooth operations.
• Perform duties to improve quality and productivity and keep the work area clean.
