Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Line Packer to support the finishing department. The role covers packing slit rolls to customer specs, operating the manual packaging line, banding, and related tasks following Avery Dennison packaging standards.

The job emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork. It supports a 12-hour shift schedule (2-2-3) from 11p-7a, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to participate in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Safety as a core value; model safe practices.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short notice.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate basic packing tools.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and package finished goods per customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Inspect finished product appearance to ensure quality.
• Track multiple orders being packed and communicate with shifts.
• Operate the manual packaging line and assist with 5S audits and improvements.
