Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Operator to support the finishing center operations on C Shift (11:20PM-7:30AM, Sun-Thurs). Responsibilities include packaging slit rolls to customer specs, inspecting finished goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires following instructions, strong safety focus, and teamwork to meet production targets while contributing to continuous improvement and 5S adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Safety as a core value and role model for others.
• Proficiency with MFG Pro transactional skills.
• Lift truck operation certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and package finished goods for shipment per customer specs, quality requirements and standard practices.
• Inspect general appearance of finished product.
• Keep area supplied with packaging materials.
• Prepare cores for machine operators.
• Coordinate information across shift/department personnel to ensure effective operations.
• Track multiple orders being packed at one time.
• Participate in group problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform 5S duties and audits.
• Assist in equipment maintenance as directed.
