Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Material Handler - Film Puller in Hickory, NC, for a 12-hour night shift (7PM-7AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule. Pay rate is $19.93/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

You will safely operate material handling equipment, track inventory, and support shipping and inventory control. Responsibilities include pulling finished goods, staging materials, labeling pallets, and assisting with cycle counts and year-end inventory.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished products.
• Basic computer and scanning system skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use scan guns to track and record inventory locations.
• Pull finished goods and stage materials for shipment.
• Verify counts to fulfill shipping orders accurately.
• Print and apply labels to outgoing pallets.
• Assist with year-end inventory and cycle counts.
• Perform trailer lockout procedures, truck inspections, and freight loading.
• Print and process releases for outgoing shipments and create BOLs.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform forklift safety inspections at shift start per OSHA standards.
• Follow plant safety and food safety procedures.
