Job summary

Midwest PMS LLC in Scott City, Kansas is seeking a Night Shift Feedmill Operator to support daily production. You will work under the Nightshift Leadman and Plant Manager, serving as relief for pellet mill and mixer operators during breaks and absences.

This position offers on-site duties in a Safe Feed/Safe Food certified facility, with a base hourly range of $16.00–$18.00 (plus a $2.00 shift differential).

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift and front-end loader.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical activities.
• Able to work in dusty, dirty, wet, and noisy conditions.
• Must pass drug test and background check; must have valid US work documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust feedmill equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Follow procedures to produce high-quality animal feed.
• Maintain records of production and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Communicate with team and management.
• Participate in daily safety meetings.
• Perform daily production tasks.
• Serve as relief Operator for pelleting and mixer operators.
• Assist with bagging and loading/unloading trucks.
• Support housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Back up Nightshift Leadman when needed.
