Job summary

Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is seeking a Factory Technician for the Weekday 2nd Shift. You will operate industrial saws, bandsaws, and CNC equipment, load and inspect aluminum, and manage material handling systems.

This on-site role requires safety-first behavior and accurate data entry into our software. The position is full-time, overnight-ready, with responsibilities spanning receiving inbound material, processing cuts, and preparing outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in factory/metals environment.
• Safe operating practices and PPE compliance.
• Ability to read and follow cut lists and production schedules.
• Comfortable with digital tracking of production data.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment and material handling systems.
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum pieces to spec.
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision.
• Handoff to day shift and prep floor for next shift.
• Receive inbound material and verify against POs.
• Package, label and stage outbound shipments.
• Record data and job completions in software accurately.
• Ask questions and avoid guessing when unclear.
• Identify process improvements and implement changes.
• Keep floor clean, organized, and safe.
• Work safely and enforce safety among teammates.
