Job summary

Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions in Catoosa, OK is seeking a daylight/1st shift, full-time Facility Operator to work outdoors in varied weather. You will load/unload trucks and railcars, perform minor maintenance, and support production with a team to deliver high-quality asphalt oil.

The role emphasizes safety, training, and good housekeeping. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math, and the ability to read instructions and learn computer skills; teamwork and communication are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to learn computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and railcars.
• Conduct minor maintenance on plant equipment (pumps, racks, mixers).
• Attend and participate in daily production/quality/EHS meetings.
• Utilize proactive safety tools (checklists, etc.).
• Ensure good facility housekeeping.
• Stay current on required training.
• Wear provided PPE (hard hat, face shield, long-sleeve shirt, H2S monitor, steel toe boots, safety glasses).
• Communicate effectively between operators, management, trucking company and customers.
