Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Facility Investigator III to conduct investigative work at a State Supported Living Center in Denton, TX. Responsibilities include field investigations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, collecting evidence, and preparing reports.

You'll work with campus administrators, participate in root cause analyses, and support incident management while being on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Preferred: four-year college with related coursework in criminal justice or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of incidents to ensure prompt intervention and safety.
• Collect and review evidence, interview witnesses, and document findings.
• Prepare concise investigative reports and present findings at hearings or to supervisors.
• Coordinate with external agencies and implement follow-up actions as required.
