Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Campus Administrator for Brenham State Supported Living Center. You will monitor homes and grounds, respond to incidents, and coordinate with the Incident Management Team to ensure safety and quality of care.

The role requires handling abuse/neglect cases, initiating investigations, and performing audits. Regular night shifts and possible non-traditional hours are required, with opportunities for professional growth within HHSC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent; two years of experience in IDD, emergencies, audits, or investigations.
• Experience working with people who have IDD and responding to emergencies and incidents.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including overnights and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor homes and grounds, address emergencies and incidents immediately.
• Serve as contact for abuse/neglect and as first responder for critical incidents.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and special audits to improve service delivery.
• Coordinate with Incident Management Team to resolve issues and ensure safety.
• Provide in-service training and guidance on approved policies and guidelines.
