Job summary

Micro-Matics Inc. is seeking a reliable Janitorial/Building Maintenance worker to keep our facilities clean and safe. You will perform routine cleaning tasks across production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes open communication and teamwork to maintain a high standard of hygiene and organization. Night shift hours and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other common spaces.
• Collecting and disposing of trash and recycling, potentially handling hazardous waste according to regulations.
• Cleaning and sanitizing sinks, mirrors, and restocking supplies.
• Washing and polishing glass surfaces.
• Removing dust from furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Ensuring adequate supplies of cleaning products and materials.
• Maintain employee hygiene supplies (soap, towels, etc.).
• Operating specialized cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers or pressure washers.
• Routine maintenance (air filters, HP filters, light bulbs, etc.).
• Participate in periodic deep cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Clean windows – external and internal.
• Shovel snow as needed – sidewalks, dumpster area, salt areas.
• Responsible for other duties assigned by management.
