Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions in Saline, MI is seeking a reliable Janitor Technician to maintain a clean, safe, organized facility and support basic maintenance. The role is onsite with weekday evenings, offering hands-on cleaning, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas responsibility.

The ideal candidate takes pride in work, can work independently, and adapts to changing priorities. You will follow safety procedures and contribute to a productive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, facilities, maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Excellent follow-through and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to facility needs as they arise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in and around a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas throughout the facility.
• Empty and maintain trash and recycling receptacles.
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of both interior and exterior areas.
• Support facility maintenance activities and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Identify facility issues and coordinate with appropriate contractors for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building-related needs.
• Assist with maintaining an organized, safe, and presentable work environment.
• Support additional cleaning and facility-related needs as assigned by Manufacturing Engineering/Facilities leadership.
• Provide guidance and communicate facility concerns or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
