Job summary

PPM is seeking a dedicated janitor to perform cleaning tasks across facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash collection, restroom service, window cleaning, dusting furniture, and reporting repairs.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work day or night shifts as needed for customers. Candidate should have at least 6 months in janitorial work and be able to operate in a fast-paced environment while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 6-months utility/janitor experience

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Supply, clean, and service restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust/polish furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
• Request appropriate supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Move furniture.
• Identify and report possible repairs.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Must be able to work a day or a night shift as required by customer. Must be able to work extra hours as needed with or without notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
