Job summary

Qualifications

• Cleans interior of buildings including floors, windows, and walls.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop offices, lobbies and hallways.
• Disinfects desks, door handles, and common tools.
• Cleans and restocks restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Empties trash and recycling; maintains disposal area.
• Keeps inventory of cleaning supplies and reports needs.
• Assists with safety checks and follows all safety rules.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls, and general tasks.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Cleaning stains from chairs and upholstered furniture.
• Maintain furniture free of dust, including lighting fixtures and marble surfaces.
• Dispose of trash and recycling; ensure cleanliness of disposal areas.
• Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, and office tools.
• Restock and clean restrooms; replenish supplies as required.
• Wash and clean windows and mirrors; maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies; report shortages to supervisors.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a cleaning chart of areas cleaned and inspected.
• Follow all safety precautions and rules.
