Job summary

GENERAL TOOL COMPANY is seeking a Night Shift Fabrication Supervisor for aerospace and defense fabrication. You will lead the fabrication department through nightly operations, ensuring quality and productivity while maintaining standard procedures and processes.

You’ll own the shift outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with quality, NDT, and technical services to minimize non-conformance and waste.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of supervisory experience in aerospace or defense fabrication.
• A high school diploma is required; technical or business-related degree is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct the fabrication department to ensure on-time, within-spec production.
• Lead root-cause investigations with quality teams and implement preventive actions.
• Monitor real-time production progress and assist in daily scheduling and coordination meetings.
• Train team members and conduct performance appraisals; enforce SOPs and standard processes.
