Job summary

AZEK Exteriors in Ohio is seeking a seasoned extrusion operator to join our 12-hour night crew. You will start, operate, maintain, and shut down extrusion equipment while meeting safety, quality, and productivity targets.

The role requires TPM/6S discipline, accurate documentation of quality checks and work orders, and collaboration with Maintenance and cross-functional teams. A HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of extrusion experience are preferred; the role pays $22/hr on a rotating 2-2-3 night

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an extrusion processing environment preferred.
• Proven knowledge of extrusion processes and equipment operation.
• Strong decision‑making, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and adapt to a fast‑paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for inputting process and quality data.

Responsibilities

• Start, operate, maintain, and shut down extrusion equipment per standards.
• Adhere to TPM and 6S to keep an organized workspace.
• Document Quality Check paperwork and Work Orders with 98% accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs; document for major repairs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and cross-functional teams.
• Adapt to varying temperatures and stand for full shifts.
