Employ-Temps in Hudson, Ohio is hiring an Extrusion Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10:45pm-7:00am). The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion lines, ensuring product quality, and supporting packaging and documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidate must have hands-on machine operation experience, be able to use precision measurement tools, and follow written specs.

Qualifications

Hands-on machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to understand and follow written specs and tolerances.
Physically able to lift boxes and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Set up extrusion lines, including tooling, vacuum tank, puller, cutter, and coiler.
Fill hoppers and prepare production area.
Measure product using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Monitor quality: OD, ID, wall thickness, weight, surface finish.
Perform hand coiling, stacking, and operate automatic coiler.
Package and label products: poly-bag, heat seal, labels, boxes.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Complete production paperwork, run history, and shipping documentation.
Perform line clean-up, remove tooling, clean plastic residue, and grind scrap.
