Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Dallas, TX is hiring for a Night Shift Inspector. You will visually inspect extruded products, conduct routine tests, and notify supervisors of defects to maintain quality standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strong math and measurement reading, and teamwork to support production goals. Full-time hours with night shift duties and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and perform basic math; read tape measure, micrometer, and dial caliper.
• Must be quality and safety conscious; excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect extruded product for defects according to specs.
• Conduct tests/inspections of product features.
• Notify supervision of product defects.
• Ensure proper packing patterns and counts.
• Discard unacceptable product in Scrap Rack.
• Identify jammed line and assist as necessary.
• Assist with product changes and line shutdown tasks.
• Communicate with adjacent shifts about quality and status.
• Perform housekeeping and complete line paperwork accurately.
