Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Stuarts Draft, VA is seeking a Machine Operator to learn extrusion line operations for vinyl siding products, with a 2-2-3 night shift schedule and a base pay of $25.25 per hour plus $1 night differential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and have working knowledge of machine mechanics.
• Must have good mechanical and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect extruded product for appearance and size defects according to specifications.
• Conduct recurrent tests/inspections of product features such as nail slot depth and weepholes.
• Notify appropriate personnel of product defects.
• Assemble cartons for packaging and ensure proper packing patterns.
• Complete line packaging-related paperwork and communicate status between shifts.
