Seattle-Tacoma Box Company seeks an Extrusion Machine Operator to set up and operate extrusion lines that produce corrugated plastic sheets. You will monitor the process, adjust temperatures, speeds, and vacuum to meet product specs and maintain quality while helping the team hit production targets.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work a rotating night shift including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and product specifications; learn quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Multitask, stay focused, and meet production goals.
• Basic math for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Set up extrusion equipment and operate it to produce corrugated plastic sheets.
• Monitor the extrusion process and adjust settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished sheets for defects and verify conformance with standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Support downstream tasks such as cutting, stacking, and packaging.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.
