Quanex Building Products Corp. in Kent, Washington is hiring an Extruder Operator to join our Production team.

You will run and maintain extruder machines to meet customer specs with minimal waste, on a rotating 7:00 pm–7:00 am schedule that may include Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and overtime. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of equipment and complete changeovers on schedule.
• Produce and use Material Identification labels/computer as needed.
• Identify quality product prior to packaging.
• Attend work on time and for scheduled hours.
• Maintain good housekeeping per 5S standards.
• Promote teamwork by supporting co-workers.
• Follow established procedures and safety policies.
