Quanex Building Products Corp. is seeking an Extruder Operator for our night-shift production team in Kent, Washington. The role focuses on running and maintaining extruder machines to produce quality window and door parts per customer specifications with minimal waste.

Responsibilities include equipment set-up, changeovers, labeling, quality checks, and adhering to 5S and safety policies. The position requires 1+ year of manufacturing experience and flexibility to work weekends on a rotating

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Shift flexibility including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to read and understand packaging layouts.
• Ability to operate hand tools and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and perform changeovers in a timely manner.
• Produce and apply material identification labels/computer entries.
• Identify quality products prior to packaging.
• Attend scheduled hours and maintain punctuality.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping practices and promote teamwork.
• Follow established procedures and safety policies.
