Job summary

Quanex in Kent, Washington, is seeking Extruder Operators to join our Production team. You will run and maintain extruder machines to produce quality window and door parts to customer specs with minimal waste, on a 7:00 pm to 7:00 am rotating schedule that includes Friday-Sunday every other week.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in manufacturing.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Shift flexibility, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to read and understand packaging layouts.
• Ability to operate hand tools and other equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of equipment and perform timely changeovers
• Produce and apply material identification labels
• Identify quality product prior to packaging
• Attend work on time and adhere to schedule

Quanex is looking for Extruder Operators to join our Production team located in Kent, Washington.

An Extruder Operator is responsible for working as part of a team, as well as independently to run and maintain assigned extruder machines to produce quality window and door parts, to customer specifications, with minimal waste.

Expected Starting Salary: $22.00/hour
