Job summary

The Hershey Company in Bluffton, IN is seeking an extrusion line operator to mix, extrude, bake, and flavor cornmeal blends into products such as cheese twists and curls. You will set up extrusion equipment, monitor quality, and ensure line efficiency.

This role offers night shift, 12-hour shifts, and a 2-2-3 rotation. Weekly pay with benefits including health, 401(k), and time off. Prior related experience is helpful, with 18+ age requirement and high school diploma. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 month experience or training in related field.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up extruding machines and change tooling per recipe and line sheet.
• Inspect finished product for defects and adjust machine controls.
• Perform hourly quality checks and record data.
• Conduct minor maintenance and clean work areas.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures.
