Job summary

The Hershey Company in Bluffton, IN is hiring for a Warehouse (Nights) role responsible for staging, loading, unloading, and inventory control. You will operate material handling equipment and follow safety, sanitation, and FIFO practices.

This full-time night shift (12 hours, 7pm–7am) offers weekly pay, a sign-on bonus, 401(k), referral bonus, and paid time off; training provided with opportunities to advance within Hershey's distribution network.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all Material Handling Equipment and perform safety checks prior to operating.
• Maintain food safety awareness and report issues to management.
• Receive material from vendors, customers, or other warehouses; verify against packing lists/Bill of Lading.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials as needed and ensure proper storage.
• Make transactions in S4 Hana to maintain inventory accuracy and lot control.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Other duties as assigned
