Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is hiring a part-time EVS Technician responsible for environmental cleaning and maintenance in a hospital setting, including patient rooms, operating suites, and corridors.

You will operate cleaning equipment, handle linen, and follow infection control procedures to ensure a safe, sanitary environment, with shifts 11pm–7am on a rotating schedule and holidays off as needed.

Qualifications

• No license or certification required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service hospital areas using approved methods.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle linens.
• Maintain patient rooms to ensure a safe, sanitary environment.
• Follow infection control policies during all tasks.
• Assist with waste handling and housekeeping duties as required.
