Job summary

Asante is seeking a Floor Care Specialist in Medford, OR for the 3rd shift (Nights). The role is responsible for restoring and maintaining hard surface and carpeted floors and implementing EVS projects to support a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Compensation starts at $18.68 per hour with applicable shift differentials and weekend premiums. The position is full-time and requires one year of institutional cleaning experience and a High School Diploma or GED, along with

Qualifications

• One year institutional cleaning experience providing knowledge and experience with floor finishing and/or carpet cleaning
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position

Responsibilities

• Restore and maintain hard surface and carpeted floors and implement EVS projects as part of Environmental Services.
• Provide a clean, healthy, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff using asepsis techniques.
• Clean occupied rooms, discharge rooms, offices and common areas and stock paper and soap products.
• Maintain carts and equipment according to guidelines.
• Scrub, strip and polish floors; shampoo and extract carpets; clean fabric and vinyl furniture; detail tile and grout.
