Job summary

The Staff Pad is assisting a healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA to hire a dependable EVS Floor Tech for a full-time night shift. You’ll help create a clean, safe hospital environment, supporting exceptional patient care every day.

You will follow OSHA guidelines, handle routine cleaning, and work as part of a team to maintain high cleanliness standards across patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas.

Qualifications

• Previous environmental services or custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Clean, mop, buff, and wax floors using proper techniques.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Dispose of waste according to hospital policies and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and help maintain cleaning supply and equipment inventory.
• Report maintenance needs and safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
