Job summary

Minden Medical Center is seeking a dependable EVS Technician for night shift to support our acute care hospital and attached clinics in keeping areas clean, safe, and sanitary.

You will perform routine and terminal cleaning, adhere to infection prevention and EVS standards, and maintain floors while assisting with patient safety and regulatory readiness. Some nights involve visits to nearby clinics, requiring route planning and timely handoffs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months healthcare or commercial housekeeping/floor tech experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and terminal cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and shared spaces.
• Follow infection prevention and EVS standards.
• Perform floor care: strip, wax, buff, and maintain hard surfaces.
• Travel to outer-building clinics/offices as assigned.
