Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift on a full‑time basis (36 hours/week) with full benefits and potential overtime.

As part of Universal Health Services, we promote safety, teamwork and professional growth. The RN will provide nursing care, participate in stroke protocols, and collaborate with a large, skilled team to ensure high‑quality outcomes for our patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.
• BLS certification current upon hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and/or required specialty training within three months of employment.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate Stroke alert procedures and NIHSS assessment.
• Assist with telemedicine consults and thrombolytic therapy management as applicable.
• Maintain ongoing stroke knowledge with NIHSS training and annual stroke-related education.
