Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Temple in Temple, TX is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join a high-level team in a Level One Emergency Department. This night shift, full-time role supports adult patients with a focus on stroke and STEMI protocols.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with ED providers and staff in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited RN Program.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of starting.
• 1 year of ER experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families and document learning needs.
• Delegate tasks within the care team and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with ED providers, social workers and staff to deliver care.
