Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for the Evening Shift. This full-time role covers 3:00pm–3:00am with a 36-hour work week, relocation available, and a Level I Trauma Center environment with high patient acuity.

You will oversee patient care, assess conditions, develop care plans, and coordinate with an experienced team to deliver evidence-based emergency nursing. Eligible for relocation assistance and benefits.

Qualifications

Grad of an Accredited RN Program.
RN license is required.
BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
Prioritize patient and family needs and document learning needs and outcomes.
Educate patients, families, nurses and community members about health plans and care options.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ED environment.
Support rapid stabilization, adherence to protocols, and critical decision-making during emergencies.
Promote patient safety, comfort and effective care delivery through teamwork.
Document care and ensure accurate electronic medical records and communication.
