Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department. You will participate in direct patient care on an 11-bed unit and help deliver specialized, compassionate care using current protocols and technology.

Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, patient monitoring, and collaboration with the care team. Requires RN license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS/PALS within 12 months, and about 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within 12 months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers, discharge, referrals and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
