Job summary
St. Croix Health in Wisconsin seeks a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. This full-time 0.75 FTE position offers straight night shifts (7 pm–7:30 am), with every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday.
The RN delivers patient- and family-centered care, conducts assessments, develops care plans, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support safe discharge and continuity of care. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor preferred), Wisconsin RN license,
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in nursing required
- Current WI Registered Nurse license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS/PALS/TNCC/ENPC certifications preferred within stated timelines
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled patient care in a fast-paced ED setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and discharge planning
- Document data in the EMR accurately and timely
- Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans and expectations
- Supervise and delegate to CNAs while ensuring quality and safety
