Nutex Health's West Little Rock Emergency Hospital is seeking an ED Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will perform patient assessments, triage, and deliver timely, evidence-based emergency care.

Supervise ER staff, collaborate with physicians, and support families while upholding infection control, safety standards, and ongoing professional development. Applicants must have two years ER experience, nursing degree, active state licensure, current BCLS/CPR, ACLS/PALS or ENPC; TNCC

Qualifications

• Two years of emergency room experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners for their state.
• Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct head-to-toe assessments and psychosocial evaluations to determine severity.
• Triage: Assign triage categories based on urgency.
• Emergency Care: Provide care to patients of all ages per protocols.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications adhering to the five rights.
• Supervision: Oversee ER Technicians and other staff for efficient workflows.
• Patient Advocacy: Explain procedures and plans to patients and families.
• Collaboration: Work with physicians and staff to develop care plans.
• Infection Control: Maintain clean, safe work environment.
• Continuous Education: Participate in ongoing training and quality initiatives.
