Job summary

Crisp Regional Hospital, Inc. invites applications for a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, night shift (6PM to 6AM) position in Cordele, GA. The RN provides comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in nursing, an active Georgia RN license, and current BLS certification. ACLS/PALS are preferred and TNCC is recommended.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Must hold a current state license as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Must have a current Basic Life Support certification; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within six months of ED employment; TNCC recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients with varying illnesses or trauma requiring basic, advanced, or emergency attention.
• Administers medications and monitors IVs, blood products, EKG rhythms, and venipuncture per physician orders.
• Assists with examinations and treatments, documents care, and communicates with patients and families.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient education to support home care needs.
