Job summary

Orlando Health Emergency Room – Waterford Lakes is hiring Registered Nurses for night shifts (7 pm–7 am) to support the high patient volume in our freestanding ED. Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing care, monitoring specialized equipment, and collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Willingness to work weekend shifts and participate in rotating schedules is required. Nursing licensure in Florida, BLS, and ACLS are essential; ER/ED experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS certification.
• 1 year of recent RN ER/ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Monitors and interprets monitoring equipment and vital signs.
• Responds to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocols.
• Develops and revises patient care plans based on needs and responses.
• Documents patient care in a compliant and timely manner.
