Job summary

Orlando Health Emergency Room – Waterford Lakes is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a growing emergency department. The role features a flexible Variable Full Time schedule with three shifts per week from 7 am to 7 pm at our Waterford Lakes/Orlando Health network location.

We offer on-site imaging, respiratory therapy, a full-service lab, and 24/7 security with robust benefits including immediate eligibility, education assistance, parental leave, and back-up care options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multi-state license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care for patients with high-acuity needs in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Monitors and documents patient data, responds to life-threatening situations, and collaborates with physicians.
• Learns and mentors as a unit educator/preceptor when assigned.
• Coordinates care with the healthcare team to meet age-specific patient needs.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains patient safety standards.
