Job summary

Qualifications

• One year psychiatric nursing experience as an LPN required.
• Valid LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Mental Health, Acute Care and Co-occurring MH settings.
• Experience with data or word processing (Microsoft Office) and Electronic Health Records.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties under supervision of Charge Nurse.
• Administer medications and document in MAR.
• Respond to medical emergencies and hospital codes.
• Record nursing notes and vital signs in EMR.
• Escalate medical problems to supervising RN or physician as needed.
