Job summary

Kaleida Health's Buffalo General Medical Center Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated RN to assess and treat patients, execute physician orders, provide life-saving care, and support patient well-being in a fast-paced, 13-hour shift environment. Qualified applicants must hold a current NYS RN license, with BLS within 6 months and ACLS/PALS credentials within the specified timelines.

Prior critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
• BLS within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter
• PALS within 1 year of hire/transfer for RN Critical Care in ED and maintained thereafter
• ACLS within 1 year of hire/transfer for RN Critical Care in ED and maintained thereafter

Responsibilities

• Assesses and treats patients and executes physician orders
• Provides life-supportive care and adheres to Kaleida policies and standards of practice
