Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire; maintained thereafter.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire/transfer for ER CN, maintained thereafter.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire/transfer for ER CN, maintained thereafter.
• Shift-based scheduling rules apply when bidding between 13‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in the Emergency Department as per physician orders.
• Execute medical regimens in accordance with NYS regulations and Kaleida policies.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive care to patients and families.
