Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical training plus more than six months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general patient care and perform routine treatments as directed by the RN.
• Assist with personal hygiene to promote patient comfort and well-being.
• Check and record intake and output as ordered.
• Take and record patient vitals and other measurements as indicated.
• Assist in caring for seriously ill patients or during complicated treatments.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment with stocked supplies and functioning equipment.
• Maintain patient medical records in an orderly, legible, accurate manner.
• Observe patients and report changes to RN/Team Leader.
• Maintain current knowledge of specialty by attending seminars and inservices.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
