Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an entry-level Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance in Sumter, SC. This contract position offers 40 hours per week on first shift within a medical devices environment.

Responsibilities include supporting mechanical design tasks and applying engineering principles, with exposure to blueprints and electrical/mechanical standards. A two-year technical degree and related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two (2) year degree in applied technical sciences or equivalent from vocational or related technical college.
• One (1) year experience in project management or manufacturing environment. Verbal and written communication skills.
• PC skills; familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint Minitab, SAP, CAD, MS Project and Visio.
• Working knowledge of blue prints, schematics, and part drawings.
• Candidate must know how use Allen wrenches, torque wrenches and socket wrenches, no exceptions.
• Candidate must have a Minimum of two years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a variety of technical services which include mechanical design requiring knowledge of basic and approved engineering principles.
