Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Bohemia, NY is seeking an Associate Equipment Operator to support the safe, accurate and efficient production of clinical trial labeling materials. You will help set up, operate and monitor specialized manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with cGMPs and SOPs.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will cross-train on multiple machines, perform maintenance, document production activities and collaborate with manufacturing, quality and maintenance teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or mechanical training preferred.
• Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Background in printing, labeling or related manufacturing operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor specialized manufacturing equipment per SOPs.
• Support production of clinical labeling materials according to job orders and quality standards.
• Perform equipment adjustments, maintenance and changeovers as needed.
• Document production activities and maintain logs in accordance with cGMP.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues.
