Job summary

Millenniumsoft, Inc. in Sumter, SC is hiring for Tech, Equipment Maintenance. Position involves operating, maintaining and optimizing production equipment, with a 3x2/2x3 rotating schedule and 8pm–8am shifts.

Requires high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of mechanical experience; steel-toe shoes are required. Candidate must pass eye exam and background checks; 20/30 vision with/without correction and color vision tested. Food/ manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance/repair or mechanical experience preferred.
• 2 years mechanical experience preferred.
• 6-12 months of manufacturing experience desired.
• Familiar with PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics desired.
• Proficient with basic hand tools.
• Able to work autonomously and be self-motivated.
• Able to work any shift.
• Must have clear and legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipment.
• Meeting and exceeding production standards while maintaining product quality.
• Minimizing and preventing equipment downtime and sustaining budgeted waste levels.
• Maintaining accurate equipment logs and recording downtime and maintenance problems.
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Starting up equipment and ensuring accurate functioning.
• Monitoring component inventories and safety guards.
• Maintaining a neat and orderly production environment.
• Monitoring in-process quality and addressing issues as needed.
• Performing required Q.C. checks and process challenges.
• Following safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements.
• Supporting upstream and downstream operations.
• Performing rework as required.
• Working optimally in a team environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor
