Job summary

Mount Carmel in Grove City, Ohio, is seeking an Environmental Services Technician for the night shift. You will clean patient rooms, sanitize surfaces, and maintain a sanitary, safe environment while supporting service excellence.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred; strong communication; ability to handle chemicals and operate cleaning equipment. Competitive benefits are provided with day-one coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Ability to clearly and respectfully communicate with patients, visitors, and all colleagues.
• Reading, basic math and writing skills required.
• Knowledge of chemicals, dilution, supplies, tools and equipment; operate steam sterilizer, grinding/shredding system, waste/ cardboard baler.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits Mount Carmel Service Excellence Behavior Standards and professionalism.
• Cleans patient rooms and other areas daily; collect/remove trash; change bed linens; sanitize surfaces.
• Stock paper items and supplies in patient rooms as needed.
• Move furniture for cleaning/repairs and set up meeting rooms.
• Assist in cleaning spills or floods as observed or requested.
