Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• No licensure, registration or certification required.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and safety signage.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Maintains flooring care: cleaning, buffing, sealing, finishing, vacuuming, shampooing carpets.
• Uses power equipment and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance.
• Provides waste collection and disposal including biomedical waste and recycling.
• Mixes cleaning solutions and selects appropriate methods for surfaces.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and basic consumables.
• Carries out bed tracking tasks as needed.
• Reports maintenance or repair needs to management.
