Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is hiring an Environmental Services Aide to ensure a safe, clean hospital environment. You will perform linen distribution, trash and bio-waste collection, and floor care across patient areas and offices.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 75 lbs, and experience with floor care equipment. You will follow infection control standards and participate in the department’s training to maintain high cleanliness and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with stripping, waxing, buffing floors per healthcare standards (Surgical Services only).
• Experience with floor scrubber/buffing equipment.

Responsibilities

• This job ensures effective collection of all medical solid waste and trash throughout the facility and distribution of linen and floor care maintenance.
• Performs housekeeping and janitorial duties in patient care areas, administrative offices, and public spaces.
• Maintains a safe environment and adheres to infection control requirements.
