FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, CA is hiring an Environmental Monitoring Tech II to perform tests monitoring environmental conditions during sterile filling activities and to maintain documentation for traceability.

The role supports QC EM tasks in the clean room, conducts sterility and related testing, maintains the organism library, provides training, and contributes to investigations and process improvements. The position is 3rd shift, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Some college courses in Microbiology preferred.
• Degree in Microbiology ideal.
• 2-3 years of experience environmental monitoring in a cleanroom.
• Knowledge of cGMP and GDP preferred.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation support of testing and monitoring in the QC lab.
• Document environmental monitoring of production rooms and report activities.
• Perform sterility testing on finished products as needed.
• Maintain an organism library and archive new organisms found in clean rooms.
• Provide training to new hires or manufacturing personnel on QC EM tasks.
• Support equipment validations for EM-related equipment.
