Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using approved EPA methodologies. The role involves routine lab tasks, data evaluation, and instrument maintenance in a fast-paced environment, with potential for standing for long periods and exposure to solvents.

The position requires a BS in chemistry or related field (3 years lab experience may substitute), strong English skills, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• EPA method D1633, 537.1 or 533 experience would be beneficial.
• Laboratory experience helpful.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, and speak).

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Evaluate and quantify data; record and report test results to supervisor.
• Maintain routine instrument performance and housekeeping in the lab.
• Complete work within time and quality constraints; work under supervision.
• Document training records and ensure QC samples are completed on schedule.
